This WEBSITE was created as a support for those dedicated individuals who have opened their hearts and homes to a relative's child .
WELCOME!
Grandma Eagle (a.k.a. Louise) has been at this for some time.
She has been raising children and grandchildren for over 64 years!
She has five biological children, three lovely "step" daughters, and fifty-three grand and great-grandchildren.
This website is dedicated to "kinship-caregivers", or those relatives who are raising other
relatives' children , such as grandparents raising their grandchildren.
Louise has been "through the fire" while raising six of her own grandchildren, and is now committed to empowering all care-givers in need of information and moral support.
If you are raising a niece, nephew, grandchild or other relative we pray you will receive some small comfort as you read through these pages!
